Each year Summit Adventure, a non-profit Christian organization, hires several qualified applicants to fulfill our seasonal & oLITE positions. Whether you’re a seasoned outdoor professional or just starting out, Summit Adventure is the perfect place to perfect your wilderness skills, be challenged and grow as an individual. oLITE: Outdoor Leadership Intern Experience
This 12-week internship program is geared toward applicants currently enrolled in college or who have just graduated. The oLITE program will fill your summer with adventure, community building and self-exploration. You will partner with Summit Adventure to learn the ins and outs of an adventure-based ministry focused on serving. Summit Adventure provides room and board during your enrollment in the oLITE program.
This unpaid internship can qualify as academic credit through your college or university. Verifying and obtaining academic credit through the oLITE program is the responsibility of the applicant. Please notify Summit Adventure of your intentions, and we will support you in your efforts.
oLITE Application Forms
Summit Adventure hires several seasonal positions each year. These positions include Wilderness Instructor, Logistics, Base Coordinator and Cook positions. These positions help Summit conduct exciting, spiritually inspiring and physically demanding wilderness courses for populations including families, youth, adults, the disabled and church groups. Positions are seasonal from late‐May through August or September.

Internship Fundraising Page
Summit Adventure interns live and work at our base in Bass Lake, CA. We provide housing and food to our interns at no charge, but we ask that our interns help us offset some of the costs of room and board through fundraising. Although interns are not required to raise a minimum amount of money, all fundraising efforts will help keep our internship program viable. We have created a fundraising portal that makes it easy to reach out to friends and family to seek support. Interns can use the portal to set up their fundraising page and donors can use it to submit contributions.
