As an independent, non-denominational 501(c)(3) ministry, Summit Adventure does not receive any financial support from a denomination, camp, church or other parent organization. Throughout the history of Summit Adventure, we have existed solely on course revenue and private donations. In fact, donations routinely make up roughly 50% of our operating budget, and the ministry would not survive without the continued support of financial donors.
How can I donate?
- Online Donation: You can donate online by using our secure online server.
- Call Us: If you prefer to give us a call, we can take your donation over the phone. (559) 642-3899
- Mail: You can mail a donation to PO Box 498 Bass Lake, CA 93604.
Types of Donations:
- Undesignated Donations
- Designated Donations
Unless otherwise designated, all donations are considered “Undesignated Donations” and go to the general operating fund of Summit Adventure.
Gear/Equipment: It takes specialized gear & equipment to run Summit Adventure courses, and that gear constantly needs repaired and updated.
Base/Property: Summit Adventure’s main building is a 4,000 square foot log building that serves as a community living space for our seasonal staff. Built in the 1930s, it constantly needs repair and maintenance.
Course Scholarships: Every year, Summit provides financial assistance for organizations and individuals who cannot afford course tuition. A donation designated for course scholarships could be for one particular course or for general financial aid for any of our courses. For a list of current scholarship needs, please contact the Summit office.
Course-specific Donations: Summit conducts courses for a wide variety of populations (youth, family, college, disabled, etc.), and you may designate a donation toward a specific course of your choice.
As a 501(c)(3), all donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift. Thank you for your financial support of Summit Adventure. This ministry simply could not survive without you!
